The Beginning —
Family, Faith & Hard Lessons
My parents migrated from Guatemala and Mexico at just 16 years old. They married young and had three children by 21. For a season, ten of us lived in a one-bedroom apartment. We weren't rich in money, but we were rich in love.
When I was seven, my parents separated. They asked me to choose sides. I chose to stay with my father — I didn't want him to be alone. That night, watching him cry and apologize, I asked myself a question that would shape my entire life:
"Why does it take hitting rock bottom before we decide to change?"
The Marine Corps —
Outwardly Strong, Inwardly Broken
Years later, I joined the United States Marine Corps. Outwardly, I looked disciplined. Internally, I was repeating the very habits I once resented — drinking, chasing validation, living without direction.
In February 2020, after returning from advanced training, I entered the darkest season of my life. I had lost my relationship, my friends, and my identity. COVID hit. No money, no purpose, no hope.
One night, I stood on the edge of my balcony ready to end my life. My pants caught on the rail, forcing me back down. I collapsed to my knees and cried out to God.
"Why did you have to hit rock bottom before you decided to change?"
In that moment, I surrendered my life to God.
God Rebuilt
What Comfort Destroyed
God delivered me from pornography, lust, and alcohol. He rebuilt my life from the inside out. It was during this season of transformation that I met Maria.
Maria walked with me through healing, faith, and growth. Together, we chose to build a relationship rooted in God — not emotion, not convenience, but purpose.
I rose to Sergeant and served over 12 years in the Marine Corps. I scaled a gym franchise from location #64 to Top 5 in national sales. We later moved to Puerto Rico and Arizona to build a solar and roofing company side by side.
Then God called us deeper. We surrendered everything — business, podcasting, ambition — and went all-in at Bible college to build a foundation with Christ at the center. That decision changed everything.
A Calling, Not
A Business
Out of that season of surrender, healing, and rebuilding — The Alpha Journey was born. Not as a business idea, but as a calling.
Maria and I saw the same pattern everywhere: men and women who looked successful on the outside but were undisciplined, disconnected, and drifting on the inside. Strong careers. Weak habits. Good intentions. Broken standards.
So we built a coaching movement to help them: overcome destructive habits, rebuild their bodies, shift their mindset, raise their standards, restore their faith, and step fully into their God-given calling.
Today we host transformational seminars, Power Couple Masterminds, and immersive coaching programs for men and women who refuse to stay stuck. This isn't motivation — it's reconstruction.
